Irwen C. Abrams has dedicated his career to defending clients in a variety of negligence matters. With more than 30 years of litigation and trial experience, Mr. Abrams has defended clients in labor law, premises liability, property damage, defamation, and automobile accident cases, including cases involving serious personal injuries or large property loss claims. Additionally, Mr. Abrams is experienced in the defense of product liability and cases involving wrongful death.

Mr. Abrams has drafted innumerable summary judgment motions and appellate briefs, and has successfully argued before the Appellate Courts of New York. He also has extensive experience defending gas explosion cases and cases involving the Child Victims Act.

Mr. Abrams has taken over 35 verdicts throughout New York City and has a record of success, including several defendant’s verdicts. He has also managed a small staff counsel office where he trained and mentored a new generation of defense attorneys.

Mr. Abrams has volunteered for over five years as an Arbitrator in the Civil Courts of New York City. He has also received a National Park Service Certificate for his volunteer work at the Gateway National Recreation Area.
