Angie Khawly is a civil litigator whose respective practice area includes medical malpractice, labor law, premise liability, insurance coverage, subrogation, intentional torts, section 1983, and appellate advocacy. Before joining Nicoletti Gonson Spinner, Ms. Khawly was an associate at an insurance defense firm in Long Island concentrating in medical malpractice and general liability matters. Ms. Khawly has successfully obtained summary judgement in favor of physicians, physician practices, and an automobile dealership. Ms. Khawly has also appeared in the Appellate Division, Second Department for oral arguments in a premise liability action. While in law school, Ms. Khawly was an extern in the felony division of the State Attorney’s Office for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Florida, an intern in the Immigrant Rights Clinic at Florida Coastal School of Law, and an intern in the Civil Rights Litigation Clinic at Touro Law School. As a law student, Ms. Khawly concentrated her craft in writing, and ultimately graduated with a Certification in Writing, Researching, and Drafting and Pro Bono Honors.
